MRRA Inc. ComMitTee

The Committee
The  MRR Association is a volunteer community organisation which was incorporated in the State of Victoria in 2012 using the model rules.  Under the 2013 rules half the committee retire annually.  Murrays on the Murray is when the Annual General Meeting of the Association is held.  The positions have a two year tenure based on the original rules of the association.  The first service the Association provides is under the Registrar’s position, who is responsible for maintaining the Register, requiring someone with breed  experience as well as database management skills. The Secretary is responsible, by statute, for the operations of the association and the human membership.  Both positions are very important to enable the Association to accomplish its aim of Preservation and Promotion of the MRR. The second service we provide is the Rescue & Rehoming Service.  If a position is vacant then the remaining committee members cover the position.
