Murrays on the Murray

MOTM is the annual Murray Meet held in October. This year it is from 9–11th October, 2026.

It is an opportunity for Murray owners to get together and socialise. The weekend also incorporates the Annual General Meeting of the Association.

The 2026 gathering is being held at Morning Glory River Resort in Moama. Weekend accommodation may be booked by contacting the resort directly. Available accommodation is cabins, powered and unpowered camping. Day visitors to attend activities, the Annual General Meeting and dinner are also welcome.

FRIDAY 9TH

6:00pm - Murray Community Dinner; BBQ - BYO meat and drinks, salad or dessert plate to share

SATURDAY 10TH

10:00am - Registration
10:30 - Weekend Opening - Welcoming address by Association President: Ken Jelbart
10:40 - Guest Speaker Presentation - Katherine Oliver (founder of Leaps & Bounds, Echuca)
- Importance of muscle conditioning and at home massage technique demonstration
11:30 - Gundog Training Intro & Demostration - by Byron Kendal
12:00pm - BYO Lunch
1:00pm - AGM & General Meeting
1:45pm - Group Photo
2:00pm - Private Consultaions: Katherine Oliver (By appointment - places are limited. Booking details will be advised at 10:40 demonstration)
2:00pm - Gundog Training Participation - with Byron Kendal
6:30pm - Catered Dinner (2-course meal), BYO drinks (Ticketed)

SUNDAY 11TH

11:30am - Group Paddle Steamer Cruise: Murray River Cruises (Echuca). If you wish to join us, please book your cruise tickets at https://www.murrayriverpaddlesteamers.com.au/daily-cruise-prices-murray-river-paddlesteamers/ - Cost $35. Once your booking is confirmed, please advise us via email at bronwyn.futon@mrr.org.au so we know how many to expect.

Non-members: $30

Children 10-15yrs: $15

Children under 10yrs: Free
